Emiliano Sisinni

TC-37 - Measurements and Networking

Emiliano Sisinni was born in Italy, in 1975. He graduated (M.Sc.) in Electronics Engineering and received the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Instrumentation from the University of Brescia, Italy, in 2000 and 2004, respectively. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in Electronics with the Department of Information Engineering, University of Brescia. In the past, his activity focused on numerical signal analysis, with particular interest in DSP-based instrumentation. His current research interests include smart sensors, wireless sensor networking, wired and wireless industrial communications, and smartdevices. He is an author of more 100 international papers, published on international journals, books, patents and conference proceedings. He is a member of IEC SC65C WG16 and WG17 and IEC TC65 WG17. He is a member of the Italian PI competence center at the CSMT facility. He is an IEEE Member since 2001 (currently affiliated with the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society and IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society). He is a member of the TCFA Subcommittee on “Green Communication for the Automation” of the "IEEE Industrial Electronics Society"
