Marco Carratù

TC-37 - Measurements and Networking

Marco Carratù (M’16) was born in Brugg, Switzerland, in 1989. He received the M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering and Ph. D degree from the University of Salerno, Italy, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. He is currently with the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Salerno, as a Research Fellow in Electronic Measurements. Since 2019 he is a guest researcher of the Midden Sweden University. His current research interests include instrument fault detection and isolation, sensor data fusion, digital signal processing for advanced instrumentation, embedded measurement system, divulgation, and use of IEEE21451 standard for sensors network. He is also the author of several papers both in international journals and peer-reviewed international conferences on IEEE topics collaborating with other researchers worldwide. He is a member of the IEEE I&M Society, Italian Group of Electric and Electronic Measurement “GMEE,” Italy. He serves as a reviewer for the journal in the instrumentation and measurement field, such as IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, Measurement and IEEE Sensor Journal. Since 2019 he is also a member of the IMEKO Technical Committee 10 on Technical Diagnostics.
