TC-37 - Measurements and Networking
Vincenzo Marletta received the M.S. and the Ph.D. degrees from the University of Catania, Italy, in 2007 and 2011, respectively. He is currently working as a temporary research fellow with the Electric, Electronic and Information Engineering Department (DIEEI) of the University of Catania. His research interests include sensor design and characterization, smart materials, inkjet printed sensors, energy harvesting, multi-sensor architectures and sensor networks for environmental monitoring and Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), nonlinear signal processing, exploitation of nonlinear dynamics in sensors.
Since 2007 he is a member Italian Group of Electric and Electronic Measurement “GMEE”, Italy, and since 2010 he is a member of the AitAAL (Italian Association on AAL). Since 2015 he is a member of the IEEE and of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement society.
Since 2015 he is a co-founder of Smart Measurement Solutions – S.M.S. srl a Spin-Off of the University of Catania which develops custom solutions for the monitoring of measurements quantities, solutions for the monitoring in AAL applications and smart multisensors systems.
